It is sad when people get so invested over politics, but it happens rather often. In political climates, such as these, pretty often people get into arguments and altercations over politics. This is where Chrisette Michele comes in.
Chrisette Michele agreed to perform for Donald Trump at his presidential inauguration. In the early days of the Trump presidency, the urban community has turned on her for it. The interviews where she has defended herself have led to more backlash.
During her interview with Billboard, Chrisette Michele revealed her family disowned her. Some people felt this was very dramatic, while others felt this was deserved, as per the social media feedback. But, she has a cousin calling BS on it all and she believes Chrisette owes her family an apology for those comments.
