After being away for four years, there was some question about Rihanna being able to come back. Her 2015 attempt came a little short, even though “BBHMM” was a moderate hit. But, when she returned in 2016, no one could deny “Work,” featuring Drake.
Rihanna launched #ANTI to tremendous success, setting a then-record at TIDAL for streams. Immediately, Rihanna also closed a $25 million deal with Samsung. All in all, Rihanna is enjoying an upswing in her career.
Following the success of “Work,” Rihanna delivered “Needed Me,” and now is pushing “Sex With Me” and “Love On The Brain.” Yesterday, she received big news about three of her four singles. The latter two mentioned have both been certified platinum by the RIAA, meanwhile “Work” is now platinum, five times over.
