RIP Q.: Hip hop fans take to Twitter to mourn the loss of Worldstar founder, Lee ‘Q’ O’Denat, who died in his sleep earlier today

Shocking news broke when Lee “Q” O’Denat, the founder of the ever-popular, Worldstarhiphop, was found dead. For the past twelve years, he dedicated his life to his brand. Ultimately, Worldstar became the biggest hip hop site online.

Emerging at a time when there wasn’t much online video content, he changed the game. There is an entire generation that was raised by the brand of Worldstar. This brand will live on after he was gone, but he was gone far too soon.

Lee “Q” O’Denat became a household name for operating Worldstar and for its outrageous content. Along the way, fans began to recognize him and he had big plans for the site, including a biopic, of sorts. In the wake of his death, fans have several trending topics on Twitter in honor of him.
