Those who watched the New Year’s special began the year watching the performance from Lionel Richie. He definitely saved the day, in the eyes of many. For Richie, it was a good moment to begin the year on a high note, long past his prime.
Like many other stars, Lionel Richie is keeping himself busy by getting involved in some other things. The iconic singer has a film venture he is working on. Before the end of 2017, Richie plans to put his concepts to life and begin a new film.
If not for the likes of Sammy Davis, Jr., there would not be a Lionel Richie, or many others. Honoring this legacy, Lionel Richie came together with the family of the late Davis for a biopic. The film will be based on Davis’ Yes I Can: The Autobiography of Sammy Davis, Jr.
