Yesterday saw Gabrielle Union return to television, as season four of her series, “Being Mary Jane,” began on BET. After years of doing movies, her Being Mary Jane film became BET’s number one series. In the time since then, Gabrielle Union has become a bigger household name.

Gabrielle Union is one of the leading actresses in a drama series, as her character of Mary Jane tackles the media world. Over the past few years, the show has garnered much more attention. This show rising has cast a light on many other shows.

Recently, Gabrielle Union stopped by Hot 97, where she spoke to their morning trio. While speaking to Ebro, Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez, Gabrielle Union discussed “Being Mary Jane” season four. She would also discuss Issa Rae, a rising star, along with black movies, and equal pay.
