One man who flies under the radar is DJ Mustard and it’s a shame, because he does it all. When Tyga needed a hit, DJ Mustard provided the beat to his breakout hit. Two years later, DJ Mustard helped make his homie, YG, into a household name.
DJ Mustard didn’t go overlooked for his efforts, as Jay Z wasted no time adding him to the Roc Nation roster. Here, Mustard has flourished and his own music is making waves. His latest single, “Ridin’ Around,” is a pure West Coast anthem.
Definitely putting on for his city, DJ Mustard features Nipsey Hussle and RJ on “Ridin’ Around.” The record has Los Angeles’ veteran rap star and a promising rising rapper to help it along. Perhaps overstating it, but the video is a classic, and this makes it the first Video of the Week for 2017.
