Once Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill finally confirmed they were dating, the world looked for a reason to break them up. Since 2015, there have been tons of headlines about cheating and the two splitting up. Last year, the couple was indeed very silent, driving those rumors.
Ultimately, 2016 was a year where Nicki Minaj opted to keep a low profile. Prior to this, Nicki had dropped an album every other year, beginning in 2010. However, towards the end of 2016, Nicki Minaj did say she was working on a new album.
In the meantime, urban media has continued with the rumors about a breakup between Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill. For once, the speculation actually is true and there is a split up. Taking to Twitter, Nicki Minaj revealed she is single and focused on her work.
