It has been a long journey for Jimmy Butler to become the player he currently is. Representing the Chicago Bulls, the franchise made a big decision when they traded Derrick Rose. This pretty much left him as the new franchise player.
Jimmy Butler has done his best to deliver, having to share the spotlight with Rajon Rondo and Dwyane Wade. Meanwhile, Butler has had to shoulder the burden pretty much on his own. Tonight, they faced a team they’ve struggled against recently in the Charlotte Hornets.
After dropping a game in Charlotte against them, earlier this season, Jimmy Butler personally made sure his team won. Dropping 52 points, he lit up the Hornets, joining Isaiah Thomas and James Harden as other players with 50+ point games in recent days.
