Gucci Mane talks prison time, Angela Yee encounter, prison, influencing hip hop, and more with #TheBreakfastClub [VIDEO]

Playing the game by his own rules, Gucci Mane has built one of the more successful careers in rap. Once considered one of the biggest mixtape rappers, Gucci Mane took it mainstream. Successfully, Gucci crossed over with his single, “Spotlight,” featuring Usher.

 

Gucci Mane ended up behind bars during the peak of his career, getting out in 2011. Upon being released, Gucci Mane went on an impressive run, giving birth to many major careers. Then, in 2013, Gucci Mane went back to prison and served three years.

Recently, Gucci Mane changed his life and he is now boasting music with such figures as Drake. This morning, he stopped by “The Breakfast Club” and spoke on these older times and his past issues, before exposing a history with Angela Yee. He would also speak on his influence on hip hop.
