Last week’s “Empire” ending saw Lucious (Terrence Howard) checking out Anika (Grace Byers). Apparently, Lucious wants that old thing back and he almost got it. Pretty much, Anika is living with Lucious as his prisoner and not his wife.
When “Empire” began, Lucious and Anika were set to marry and then he cheated on her with Cookie (Taraji P. Henson). Not much later, Anika cheated with Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray). They soon became lovers and Hakeem got Anika pregnant.
Anika realized she had the power, when she caught Lucious getting his look on last week. As she is now looking for her own power to regain her life, she used this to her advantage and put Lucious’ back against the wall. “Empire” fans enjoyed every minute of it, voicing this approval on Twitter.
