After a grueling campaign season, Donald Trump prevailed, but he remains unpopular. While rural voters came out for him in droves, urban voters, minorities, and celebrities overwhelmingly were against him. One of the most vocal celebrities of that nature was LeBron James.

Finally, LeBron James brought the Cleveland Cavaliers a NBA championship. That made up for his 2010 departure and makes him pretty popular in Ohio. Of course, it made sense for LeBron James to campaign for Hillary Clinton, but she still lost the state.

Now, Donald Trump will be president and he is making presidential moves, already. Despite this, many people are essentially boycotting his presidency and LeBron James is one of them. He is joining the Dallas Mavericks, Milwaukee Bucks, and Memphis Grizzlies in not staying at Trump-owned hotels while playing games in New York City.
