Before he went to prison, Kodak Black was on the verge of taking over the rap game. Throughout 2015, his buzz was growing and he was working with many big names. The year of 2016 saw him doing tracks with French Montana and DJ Khaled.
Right in the middle of this run, Kodak Black was sent to prison and fans pleaded for his release. Last week, there was some good news with a pivotal update. After being sent to South Carolina, Kodak Black is now a free man.
Kodak Black shared a special message with his fans who have waited so diligently on his release. He had tremendous momentum before he was locked up. Now, he is preparing to rebuild it and officially take over.
