What made “Empire” popular, at first, led to quite a bit of backlash during season two. The celebrity cameos made people tune into the show, but the storyline kept them there. Ultimately, it became distracting, but “Empire’s” lead family is famous, on the show.
A degree of realism is kept, with them being based in New York City and popular radio personalities make cameos on the show. The favorite two on the show are Charlamagne Tha God and Sway. Tonight’s episode saw a cameo from Charlamagne and “The Breakfast Club.”
Charlamagne Tha God brought his usual humor and he was targeting the khaki-colored gay son of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard). He was blasting Jamal (Jussie Smollett) for taking so long to deliver new music. The world of Twitter was here for the latest cameo from Charlamagne and his humor.
