Beyonce is headlining Coachella 2017 with Kendrick Lamar and #Lemonade is the first album by a black woman to top Rolling Stone’s ‘Best Album of the Year’ list [PHOTO]

beyoncekendrickfreedomvidA few years ago, Kendrick Lamar was the biggest rapper in the game. It took no time for Kendrick to grow from the Los Angeles mixtape scene to being signed to Dr. Dre’s Aftermath. In 2013, Kendrick Lamar received the ultimate co-sign, when Jay Z jumped on his record.

However, Kendrick Lamar found more chemistry with Beyonce, Jay Z’s wife. In the brief encounters they have had, when it comes to making music, audiences loved them. This year, Coachella is capitalizing off this and having them both headline their 2017 festival.

Outside of this, Beyonce is continuing to make history with Lemonade, her much-discussed album. After breaking all kinds of streaming records and earning TIDAL the respect it deserves, Beyonce made Rolling Stone history. Her album is the first from a black woman to top their ‘Best Album of the Year’ list.
