Two of the most-unique artists in the game are Erykah Badu and India Arie. They represent the same style of music in neo soul, but they bring entirely different vibes. Because of this, they made the perfect match to perform together.
BET made it happen with the Soul Train Awards, this year. For the past couple of years, Erykah Badu has hosted the show. India Arie was added to the list of performers for this year and she put on a memorable show alongside Erykah.
As the host of the show, Erykah Badu has to keep things going. This meant some improvised jokes, one of which was Erykah “accidentally” performing Juvenile’s “Back That Azz Up.” But, social media was ready for it and wanted it to go on a little longer.
