It is easy to forget Brandy had hits when watching her doing reality TV shows with Ray J and seeing her on “The Game.” But, Brandy epitomized the 1990s. The girl had it all, she even had Kobe Bryant as her prom date.
The Soul Train Awards decided to honor Brandy with the Lady of Soul award. She lived up to the promise of a good show and made it something memorable. Among the songs she performed was her 2004 hit, “Talk About Our Love,” featuring Kanye West.
Immediately, many picked up on the jab Brandy threw at Monica. She didn’t name names, so there is a small chance she didn’t actually go at her rival. But, Monica fans feel otherwise and they went at Brandy for the shot.
