It’s crazy that Jeremy Lamb plays for the Hornets now. When you stop and think about it, he is so similar to the team. He has crazy potential, but he hardly ever lives up to it and, when he does, he finds a way to undo it all.
That’s how the Charlotte Hornets have played so far into this season. A lot of it can be credited to the injuries they have picked up, being outsmarted by veteran teams, and fatigue, but still. The 8-3 start wasn’t typical Charlotte, but the four game losing streak is.
Since Marvin Williams is out tonight, somebody had to step up and help out Kemba Walker. The surprising man is Jeremy Lamb, Kemba’s former college teammate, who is one of those players who was out with injury. But, Lamb is feeling alright tonight, having a helluva game with 14 rebounds by the third quarter, leading to NBA fans finally giving him props.
