Three or four years ago, phrases such as sipping the tea and “it ain’t none of my business” began to take over social media. It wasn’t long before “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and “Love & Hip Hop” began using the phrases. Somehow, Kermit became the face of this movement.
Kermit The Frog was introduced, many decades ago, as a member of “The Muppets.” While the show eventually lost popularity in favor of “Sesame Street,” Kermit is a household name. Countless memes featuring Kermit have taken Twitter and Instagram over.
For all the Kermit memes have done a Twitter user, @Trebor_roberT has decided to give him his props. Going on Twitter, he asked social media to give him a round. 40,000 tweets later, he is receiving all kinds of love for Kermit.
