Due to his choice to move away from the spotlight, Memphis Bleek isn’t a big name during this new hip hop era. But, Memphis Bleek is the man who helped usher this new era in. When T.I. was still a rising star, he was recruited by Memphis Bleek for “Round Here,” with Trick Daddy.

Memphis Bleek was among the first, along with Jay Z, New York City artists to begin working with Southern artists. Now, Bleek is more focused on his business ventures. Growing older, Memphis Bleek has several ventures going on and he is making his impact felt.

Recently, Memphis Bleek stopped by Drink Champs with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN. During the interview, Bleek discussed his career, including the memories with Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam, working with Beanie Sigel, Young Gunz, Ja Rule, T.I., Trick Daddy, and more. He also explained Jay Z’s current mindstate and his future ventures, the cognac.
