It’s funny that a team can begin their season at 8-2 and that be considered “struggling.” But, considering that team is the Golden State Warriors and they began last season at 24-0, it is. Their 24-0 start was en route to a 73-9 finish to the season.
Not even making NBA history was enough for the Warriors to complete their mission. After taking a commanding 3-1 lead, Golden State saw their lead evaporate and the Cleveland Cavaliers beat them in seven games. This led to the Warriors retooling by adding Kevin Durant.
Stephen Curry recently spoke to the media about the Golden State Warriors’ early season “struggles.” Curry mentioned the Warriors have to begin playing a more complete game, especially as they play the Toronto Raptors next. The two-time MVP would also mention facing off against DeMar DeRozan.
