Much respect goes to Mona Scott-Young for finding a way to keep “Love & Hip Hop” on throughout the whole year. It all started in NYC, however, even though the show barely looks like its former self. One thing fans can expect is a return of Kimbella, full-time.
However, Yandy has long ago established herself as the focal point of the show. The drama with Mendeecees has recently reached new heights. Two seasons ago, Samantha and her mother, Kim, were added to the show, as they are Lil’ Mendeecees’ mother and grandmother.
Last season saw Mendeecees’ other son’s mother, Erika, briefly introduced. Erika returns, this season, with a problem with Yandy, something Samantha shares, despite their past “good” relationship. During, what has become many, Judy/Kim faceoffs, the promo showed Kim having a heart attack, in which Judy, Mendeecees’ mother was shocked to see.
