Give credit to Rick Ross for making a career and a brand from being a boss. Long before there was a Maybach Music, let alone them running the game, Rick Ross was calling himself “bawse.” So much has changed in the ten years since his debut.
Rick Ross broke out from being a regional rapper, from Miami, when he took 50 Cent on in 2009. The two have battled, on and off, ever since, as this is the successor of 50 Cent’s squashed beef with Fat Joe. Yesterday gave 50 Cent a reason to gloat against Ross, with his tax situation.
Wasting no time, Rick Ross explained why this happened. Facing a $5.7 million tax lien for unpaid taxes in 2012 and 2014, Rick Ross said his earnings were improperly filed in a released statement, according to Vibe. Rick Ross is going to pay off his debts, as his Forbes earnings indicate, he makes far more than $5.7 million a year.
