Only a real North Carolinian knows how much the Charlotte Hornets have suffered. The main reason being that the Charlotte Hornets are now the New Orleans Pelicans. It’s been a long, painful, and odd journey, but the Hornets look like they are getting it together.
During the final season as the Bobcats, Charlotte made the playoffs and looked to be turning things around. But, their first season back as the Hornets, they missed the playoffs. Even with last season being a surprisingly good season, fans were cautions about this season.
Through six games, however, Charlotte is looking good. Kemba Walker and Nic Batum set the pace and the Hornets are blowing out the Indiana Pacers, who traditionally are a tough matchup for Charlotte. Twitter is celebrating this apparent win against the Pacers.
