Since his breakthrough performance in the 2014-15 season, Klay Thompson has been one of the NBA’s biggest names. One half of the reasons the Warriors went 67-15, he played big in the Finals. His performance was key in why the Warriors won the title.
Based off this performance, the Warriors were favorites to repeat as champions in 2015-16. Through 99.9% of the season, the Warriors looked like they were going to repeat. They set the record for wins, at 73-9, but faced trouble in the playoffs, losing to Cleveland.
During the offseason, the Warriors signed Kevin Durant, adding him to the core already including Thompson, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green. This has gained them tons of negative press over the past couple of months. But, when one reporter asked Klay Thompson how he feels about being called “cowards,” he rightfully went off.
