Back in 2013, Michel’le returned to the spotlight when she joined the cast of “R&B Divas” on TV One. Until Michel’le made her reality TV debut, she was considered forgotten by most. She rose to fame, along with the rest of the West Coast, as a Ruthless Records member.
Michel’le would leave with Dr. Dre, her then-boyfriend, for Death Row and then got involved with Suge Knight. Despite the Straight Outta Compton success, Michel’le wasn’t even mentioned. She even has children with both Dr. Dre and Suge Knight.
After being left out of the box office success, Michel’le took matters into her own hands. She joined forces with Lifetime for Surviving Compton, the film that tells her side of the story. The movie premiered this weekend and it is still trending on social media and that’s not all it did, as it landed Michel’le a meeting with Oprah at OWN.
