The ending of “Empire” season two saw Freda Gatz (Bre-Z) learn that it was Lucious (Terrence Howard) that killed her father (Chris Rock). As she learned this during a red carpet event, Freda stole a cop’s gun in hopes of killing Lucious. Instead, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) got shot.
While Jamal continued defending Freda, when Lucious said he planned to retaliate, he was reeling. Last week’s episode saw Jamal flip out when he finally met with Freda. The people in prison were not here for Freda and they let her have it.
Jamal tried to make amends with Freda and he visited her in prison. When she showed up, she was rocking more than a shiner. Twitter has no chill, so they went all the way in on Freda over her appearance.
