Since 2011, Mona Scott-Young has breathed new life into VH1. Her franchise, “Love & Hip Hop” has also revived the careers of many forgotten stars. With that, they have also helped other people rise to fame.
The likes of Yandy Smith, K. Michelle, Miss Nikkii Baby, and Joseline have become stars via the franchise. Meanwhile, Stevie J, Peter Gunz, Lil’ Fizz, Lil’ Scrappy, Yung Joc, and others made comebacks. Another person brought back to the spotlight was Soulja Boy.
Earlier this week, Soulja Boy took to Twitter revealing he was leaving his show, “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” Citing the show being “too ratchet” and damaging his brand, Soulja Boy said he was leaving. Indirectly, Mona Scott-Young responded to the comments Soulja Boy made, via her Instagram, low-key hitting him with that ether.
