The month of September 2016 has continued the odd year this year turned out to be. Few people, outside of those in Atlanta, were thinking about Shawty Lo. Every year, he is good for a mixtape and a city anthem, however.
But, when news broke of him dying, it was shocking. Shawty Lo was always such an entertaining and full of life figure. When he emerged, during the 2007-2008 period, he really shook the game up and his situation with T.I. was must-see internet entertainment.
Unfortunately, Shawty Lo was laid to rest today and footage of his funeral was shared on social media. Also, his body was brought to Blue Flame, his favorite strip club in Atlanta, one last time. This has the club trending on Twitter.
