Music industry heavyweight, Lyor Cohen worked at Def Jam and oversaw many big additions. Best-known for his work with Jay Z, Lyor also worked with DMX, Ludacris, Ja Rule, and many others. After leaving Def Jam, he worked at Atlantic Records.

During his time with Atlantic Records, Lyor Cohen helped T.I. emerge in 2008 as successful as he was. Later, he would leave to help establish the successful 300 Entertainment. The label is home to Fetty Wap and also Kevin Gates, among others.

Lyor Cohen, this afternoon, was revealed to be a part of a much bigger business deal. This deal sees him leaving yet another record label, however. Now, Lyor Cohen is working for Google, as YouTube is expanding into music and he is the head of music for the new venture.
