It’s no secret that it’s a really messy situation going on where Birdman and Lil Wayne are concerned. The two were just like family, at one point, and people believed they were really father and son, for a long time. Now, Lil Wayne is proving it really is just business.
Lil Wayne filed a lawsuit against Cash Money Records and renounced his “father,” Birdman. He is suing over unpaid royalties and even cut a deal with Jay Z to drop an album in 2015. This led to Birdman filing a lawsuit against TIDAL.
Despite how much Lil Wayne disses Birdman on social media, he continues to call Wayne his “son.” This is even after he blamed Birdman for the demise of Young Money, the exit of Tyga, and the future exits of Drake and Nicki Minaj. With today being the 34th birthday of Lil Wayne, Birdman wished his “son” a happy birthday and shared several pics of him on Instagram.
