True millennials known who Penny Proud is, without question. The kids who grew up in the 2000s had both “Moesha” and “The Proud Family,” which was a Disney Channel original. Those who watched the show should remember how abruptly it ended.
There was the movie, but it didn’t really wrap up anything. Since then, fanfiction has taken over and graphic design artists have shown a modern version of the characters. The one that surfaced, this morning, was likely the best one yet.
Shared by @TheIndustryOnBlast on Instagram, a new photo depicts an adult Penny Proud graduating from Spelman College. It shows what eleven years has done to the family, including a grownup BB and CC, with CC gaining a ton of weight. One person missing is Suga Mama, who The Industry On Blast began the #RIPSugaMama hashtag for.
