In the years since leaving Destiny’s Child, LeToya Luckett saw her career take a different path. But, she has remained a busy woman for the past ten years. She returned in 2006 with her single, “Torn,” now regarded as a classic.
However, it seems like LeToya Luckett found her true calling in acting, as she has done several movie roles. Often, she appears in movie specials on BET and TV One. Now, she is headed to primetime on FOX in one of their hit shows.
For season two of “Rosewood,” LeToya Luckett will have a recurring role. Luckett will play opposite of Morris Chestnut’s titular character as a love interest, causing angst for he and Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). She is playing on “Rosewood” alongside another songstress-turned-actress in Gabrielle Dennis.
