Yesterday was a good day for Tyga, as he joined G.O.O.D. Music. If there is a chance of Tyga reliving his “Rack City” days, this has become a profitable move for Kanye West. With G.O.O.D. now boasting him, in addition to Big Sean and Pusha T, they are living up to their deal.
During the summer of 2011, Kanye West was offered a full label partnership with Def Jam. In 2012, G.O.O.D. Music enjoyed much success as a collective. Their success was compared to Young Money 2010, then boasting Tyga, and 2011 Maybach Music.
Tyga fell from grace within Young Money ranks, allegedly over his “secret” romance with Kylie Jenner. Later, Tyga cited unpaid royalties from Cash Money as his reason for departing. But, apparently, he was advanced well by G.O.O.D., as Tyga and Kylie have new promise rings they shared on Snapchat.
