Last year, NWA returned to the spotlight when Straight Outta Compton premiered to record audiences. Unhappy with his portrayal, Jerry Heller threatened to sue everyone involved with the movie. Historically, he was the man blamed for NWA’s split.
However, Jerry Heller always wanted credit for being the one to help all of the men make money off music, in the first place. While the NWA members reconciled, Dr. Dre and Ice Cube never had anything positive to say about Heller. Unfortunately, now they will never make amends.
This morning, Jerry Heller died of a heart attack at the age of 75. It comes as a shock to most, even with Heller’s age. Because of his contributions to hip hop, Jerry Heller is currently dominating Twitter, as he dealt with Eazy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, and even Master P.
