Some people complained about the VMAs, last night, but if they gave it a chance, they saw the show was amazing. Everything about last night was so different from the norm. Changes led to DJ Khaled doing the pre-show and it was a gamble well worth it.
On Twitter, the running joke was Drake being absent from most of the show. Fans loved Beyonce’s performance, but were disappointed in the first Rihanna performance. The speech from Mary J. Blige was laughed off, but Rihanna closed out strongly.
Alicia Keys and Diddy had their moments during the show and Drake had a big moment. Kanye West definitely showed Def Jam and TIDAL made the right decisions by partnering with him on his music, as “Fade” is the talk of the internet. After the show, though, Jay Z and Beyonce, Diddy and Cassie, Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, and Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys took in a night.
