Millennials who grew up following hip hop should very well remember the 2000-2001 period. In 2000, Bow Wow cornered the market as a kid rapper who made music that appealed to adults. By 2001, there was another kid rapper, Lil’ Romeo.
During the summer of 2001, Lil’ Romeo briefly replaced Bow Wow as the leading kid rapper in the game. Because of the similarities, the two were pit against each other. This was something Romeo discussed when he visited “The Breakfast Club” and he revealed Bow Wow was a friend.
Recently, Bow Wow announced his retirement from rap, which led to him being clowned on social media. Romeo Miller took this moment to end all beef rumors and tension with Bow Wow. He reflected on their good times, saying they were like brothers, once, and wished him well in his future endeavors.
