In his short career, Kodak Black has received comparisons to Gucci Mane. Many consider Gucci Mane to be the top mixtape rapper of all-time, as he brought the mainstream to his tapes. But, he spent three years in prison, getting out earlier this summer.
Kodak Black was among the artists to rise to stardom while Gucci Mane was in prison. When Gucci Mane returned from prison, he has become one of the most popular rappers out, period. Still, Kodak Black has maintained his position.
Recently, Kodak Black has experienced some hardship. He has dealt with many issues with his legal situation. Unfortunately, tonight, news broke of Kodak Black being sentenced to three years in prison, leading to Twitter erupting in response to the news.
