Before “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” Lil’ Scrappy was beginning to become a bit of a joke to fans. Not only had he not had a hit in years, he began to bounce around from label to label. Then, he lost his girlfriend to Soulja Boy in embarrassing fashion.
But, Lil’ Scrappy returned to prominence, in a new way, when VH1 picked him up for “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.” Through his struggle with his women, Scrappy has become a fan favorite. His own way of talking, dubbed by some as Scrapanese, has also won Twitter over.
The past three seasons have shown Lil’ Scrappy pouring all of his romantic interest into building with Bambi. Despite the never-ending protests from Momma Dee, the two have found their way back to each other. As “breautiful” as it is, of course Twitter came with jokes, pointing out the ring and accusing Scrappy of pulling a Lyfe Jennings.
