#PowerReturns: Fans question why James/Ghost fired Cantos #PowerPremiere

In three seasons, “Power” fans should know Ghost (Omari Hardwick) doesn’t play when it comes to his business. Even though the episode is titled “Call Me James,” he is still Ghost. His business is now solely the clubs, but Ghost still operates the same.

With Tommy (Joseph Sikora) still in the game, Ghost has trained Dre (Rotimi) to be his right-hand. Dre wants to get into the game, but Ghost promised him his money would come from the clubs. First, Ghost had to clean house.

During season one, Ghost hired Kantos (Adam Huss) to run Truth, but they often disagreed. Kantos conspired with Simon Stern (Victor Garber) to steal ownership of the club, succeeding and becoming Ghost’s boss. Firmly in control of all of Stern’s clubs in the season three premiere, Ghost unceremoniously fired Kantos from the club and Twitter is left asking why.
