It looks as if things have come full circle when it comes to the ongoing violence. Understand, this isn’t a victory by any means, but there are plenty of ironies. The biggest of them comes tonight, when a police officer was shot in Ballwin, Missouri.
Two years ago, Michael Brown was shot and killed by police officers in the city of Ferguson, also in Missouri. A change has to come and not one of violence, as prayers go out to the Ballwin police officer. He was shot during a routine traffic stop, a reversal of how things have been going.
The police officer is a nine year veteran and he pulled the car over, being driven by Antonio Taylor, a 31 year old male. When the cop returned to his car, Taylor opened fire on him and continued to after he was on the ground. Taylor was initially on the run, but he was arrested and charged.
