Reasonable Doubt: Fans celebrate 20th anniversary of Jay Z’s debut album release #ReasonableDoubt

Reasonable DoubtTwenty years ago, Jay Z took a leap of faith and got back into the rap game. What will happen for everybody else isn’t clear, but Jay Z’s gamble paid off. Commercially, Reasonable Doubt didn’t do too well, but the album is hailed by critics.

Reasonable Doubt was the first offering of what would grow to become a billion dollar brand. Now, Jay Z doesn’t release as much music, but his company has managed many of the top artists. Such names as Rihanna, J. Cole, Wale, Vic Mensa, and many more work with Jay Z’s company.

TIDAL is his newest venture, with Jay Z’s company purchasing the streaming service early last year. This platform has put out music and done concerts with such names as Nick Jonas, Usher, Alicia Keys, Kanye West, Beyonce, Madonna, and more. All of this started with Reasonable Doubt.

The album has turned twenty years old, today, and the people on Twitter have been talking about the album release all day.
