Over the past few years, Demi Lovato has definitely earned the right to claim celebrity status. Just these past couple of months have seen her boost her profile. The album, Confident, the title track single, and the single, “Cool For The Summer,” all did well.
However, Demi Lovato seems to have a major chip on her shoulder, for whatever reason. During the Billboard Music Awards red carpet, Demi called out Nicki Minaj for not tagging her in an Instagram pic. She went on to have a very steamy performance.
Tonight, Demi Lovato has taken to Instagram to make a post that implies Ariana Grande is a better talent than Mariah Carey. Definitely a bold comment for someone like Demi Lovato to make and the fans are speaking up. Yes, there are some who are defending Demi, but for those one, there are ten others dragging her for speaking on an icon.
