A couple of years ago, DJ Khaled wasn’t the figure he is in the industry, now. From the beginning, DJ Khaled was an important figure, as he worked closely with Fat Joe as his DJ. Most would have stopped there, but Khaled used the opportunity to link with other artists.
DJ Khaled’s knack of getting so many rappers on the same track led to him being hired by Def Jam. The Def Jam job led to the We The Best label, giving Ace Hood an outlet. In 2016, DJ Khaled is managed directly by Jay Z and partnered with L.A. Reid at Epic Records.
When discussing his “Major Keys,” DJ Khaled says being thankful has propelled his career to new heights. During his Elliott Wilson interview, he explained how he felt down in the dumps and turned it around. Staying with the theme of positiveness, DJ Khaled wrote a special Thank You letter to Beyonce on Instagram.
