In season one of “Empire,” Andre (Trai Byers) and Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) proved to be the schemers of the show. They were willing to do any and everything in order to win. Despite his best efforts, Andre never could win Lucious (Terrence Howard) over.
However, Andre made major inroads when he revealed Rhonda’s pregnancy. Fighting to win his family back, Lucious won Andre back with a new position at Empire and a mansion. This mansion, paired with the couple’s choice to befriend Anika (Grace Gealey) proved costly.
A very pregnant Rhonda was not present with the family for a typical Lyon get-together. At home, alone, Rhonda was checking up on Andre when she suddenly fell down the stairs, although fans knew she was pushed. Fans and Rhonda, both, agree that Anika pushed her.
