With greatness comes doubters and those who oppose for no reason. It is a story LeBron James knows all too well, as he entered the NBA facing immediate Michael Jordan comparisons. Truthfully, LeBron was never Jordan for various reasons, starting with him being himself.
LeBron James outdid Jordan in some statistical categories, but lacked in others, championships and wins, obviously. But, LeBron James’ legacy is one that will be remembered. Especially after what he has done tonight.
After leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 113-87 series win over the Toronto Raptors, LeBron James is headed to his sixth NBA Finals appearance, seventh overall. Now, he is in unique company, leading two different franchises to three plus Finals appearances within a nine year span. His sixth appearance in a row is something not seen since Bill Russell.
