While most people were out enjoying the middle of this long weekend, there was man living the final hours of his young life. The man is New Orleans Pelicans player, Bryce DeJean Jones. Because of his bench status, Jones may not be a player most are familiar.
This past season, however, Bryce DeJean Jones showed flashes of the player he had the potential to be. Unfortunately, instead of preparing for the next season, Jones’ final resting place is being prepared. Earlier today, news broke of his passing.
Details have now emerged about what precipitated what ended in the murder of Bryce DeJean Jones after he was shot. It turns out, Jones broke into a Dallas apartment in the heat of the moment. Waiting on him on the other side was what drove the story, today, prayers and well wishes go out to Bryce DeJean Jones, his family, and loved ones. Rest In Peace.
