Until a year ago, DJ Drama was running neck-in-neck with Khaled as the top DJ in the game, popularity-wise. Early in 2015, DJ Drama announced his return with new work. The result is Quality Street Music 2, his next album that remains forthcoming.
DJ Drama released some singles, a few years ago, but “Wishing” is his latest single. Earlier this month, he released the “Wishing” music video, which has done well in a few days. The song features Chris Brown, Skeme, and Lyquin.
Although the music video dropped just yesterday, DJ Drama has been pushing this record for a while. The behind the scenes clip leaked and 50 Cent was present for it. Now, the video is out and it’s doing well, well enough to be the Video of the Week, this week, for Hip Hop Vibe.
