The state of North Carolina has all kinds of talent, ranging from sports, politics, to entertainment. With the exception of NC’s NBA franchise, basketball greatness exudes from the state. Michael Jordan, regarded as the NBA’s best-ever player is from NC, as is Jerry Stackhouse.
In fact, Jerry Stackhouse was often compared to Michael Jordan, early in his career. When the NBA had to go without Jordan, many wing players were compared to him. But, in the end, Jerry Stackhouse forged his own legacy and played in many of the NBA’s biggest games.
Jerry Stackhouse recently spoke to Hip Hop Vibe about his historic career. The interview also saw Stackhouse speak on his new career, as an assistant coach, as his Raptors are currently playing the Cleveland Cavaliers, tonight. In the interview, he spoke on the Raptors, and his hometown of Kinston.
