It’s no secret that the Indiana Pacers have disappointed over the past couple of years. Prior to this, Paul George asserted himself and made sure he’d be mentioned alongside the Miami Heat “Big Three.” But, following their shakeup, he would get injured.
Last season saw Paul George miss the playoffs for the first time in his career. Although the Pacers fielded a better team, this year, they lagged behind many teams and lost in the first round. Then, on top of that, they fired Frank Vogel, the only NBA coach Paul George knows.
According to NBA rumors, this is enough to have Paul George on his way out the door. It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Lakers are looking for another superstar after Kobe Bryant finally retired. So, it would make sense for the Lakers to recruit Paul George, the LA native, if he is really done in Indiana.
