Ever since viral video took over, during the 2008-2009 period, many have warned about bullying. Since the dawn of social media, some people have used it wrong. Unfortunately, this misuse of social media has led to lives being lost.
Although the hip hop industry is a more rough and male-driven community, bullying still exists. In Gainesville, Florida, a rapper named Shay Baby robbed another rapper. Shay Baby released a music video called “Cold Outchea,” bragging of this robbery.
In response to this, the other rapper (real name Ishmael Davis) retaliated in a violent way, according to Gainesville police. A few days after the video release, April 30, 2016, Shay Baby turned up dead. Police currently have Davis in custody for this murder.
